About
Attorney Karissa Parker represents clients in the negotiation and litigation of all facets of family law, including divorce, custody, alimony, child support, property division, post-judgment matters, and pre-nuptial agreements. She is dedicated to providing her clients with individualized representation and creative solutions to achieve their goals and attain a favorable result, in or out of the courtroom.
Attorney Parker has considerable experience with highly contested or challenging child custody matters, including international and foreign custody matters. She also has experience with cases involving sophisticated and complex financial matters, such as private equity or hedge fund interests and closely held businesses. Attorney Parker collaborates with financial and mental health experts to analyze the case and obtain a reasonable result.
Attorney Parker has dedicated her career to the practice of family law. Before joining Siegel, Colin & Kaufman in 2021, she worked at well-respected family law firms in Westport, CT and New Haven, CT.
While in law school, Attorney Parker also interned for Superior Court Judges and the Children’s Law Center, a nonprofit providing legal representation for children and divorce mediation. These experiences provide her with a unique and well-rounded insight into the practice of family law from a variety of perspectives.
Attorney Parker lives with her husband and two children in Trumbull, CT.
